Today I woke up to the news that an old childhood friend of mine had suddenly passed away. We were so close when we were younger and I feel like part of my life is now missing. I feel helpless, like I can't do anything to bring him back. his parents gave me some old personal items that belonged to my friend. I was surprised to find a stack of old discs containing some doom file backups. then I stumbled across the map that I had never seen before. It was a map my my- friend's house... the best way to honor our friendship is to clean up his work and release it to the public. I can finish my friend's map and maybe add some new features to spruce it up as well. There is no afterlife, and happiness is found in the small things around us that we can control.
