İmralı Adası, Marmara

İmralı island is an island in the Sea of Marmara. It is an entirely military area and is closed to civilian entry, although it is forbidden to fly. The internal security of the F Type Closed Prison on İmralı Island, which is currently a completely military forbidden zone, is provided by the Ministry of Justice, external security by the Gendarmerie General Command, and maritime security by the Coast Guard Command. In 2018, the limits of the flight ban on the island were narrowed, and the vertical height limit of the Imrali second degree air military restricted zone, which was 8 thousand 534 m (28 thousand feet), was reduced to 2 thousand 438 meters (8 thousand feet).
