The events of 9/11 unfolded just a few months prior, leaving the whole world in shock and the United States hungry for revenge. Operation Enduring Freedom saw Coalition forces begin their campaign in Afghanistan. And now, High Command has just authorized US forces to attack Insurgent positions in Kunar Province. The soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines of the US Armed Forces are ready to take revenge for the attack on their country. Afghanistan is no stranger to warfare. The graveyard of empires has dealt the final blow to many powerful nations. The Macedon Empire, the British Empire, and the Soviet Union all tried and failed to conquer this land of rebels. Yet, the US still invades. It is your time to go into the fight. Assist the coalition in capturing the position, or work with insurgent forces and defend the base.
