[ATF] Dam Town [Building Comp Entry]

Dam Town is yet another scrap town located within the post-nuclear United States which sets itself apart for being built on top of, and sometimes off of, a somewhat functional dam. Founded in the early days of the post-nuclear winter, and at a time when the Dam was fully intact, DT rose to be a trading outpost and received a good amount of traffic over its early life, getting a boost during its initial building phase thanks to pre-war air wreckage found to its location. This was until 20**, when "The Collapse" occurred. Part of the Dam gave away during this time, dragging the structures, and people, on top of it into the rest of the river, and opening up a flood way. Since this event, Dam Town has downgraded to a small backwater, not well known about to those outside of it, with the majority of its residents leaving after the Collapse destroyed a majority of the housing and infrastructure. DT is still a respectable settlement however, though not the beauty it once was.
