The Gulf of Aden is where the ongoing Red Sea-Crisis is taking place. In response to ongoing conflicts in the Middle East, anti-government forces in Yemen began countless raids on international commerce passing through the Gulf of Aden. The United States responded with deploying Carrier Strike Group 11 to the area, along with stationing a marine detachment in Yemen's pro-government controlled territory to restore order in the gulf. The Gulf of Aden present many opportunities ranging from a simple commerce trader, to a rebel faction leader dominating the gulf.
