It's the modern era, the United States are deploying their Armed Forces. The player, you are an Army servicemen. Your job is the capture the compounds and await further orders from your regimental command. Failure to carry out duties will result in immediate dishonourable discharge and you'll be flown out back to the states with NO benefits whatsoever. The Army has deployed their specialised divisions, 1st Infantry Command, Army Special Operations Command, Military Police Elite Security Company, 101st Airborne Division and private military contractors have been sent out if the army can't do their job.
