[BA942] Lyon-Mont Verdun Air Base

[INFORMATION] The Lyon-Mont Verdun airbase, located at the top of Mount Verdun, is a French Air Force base. It is the main operational site of the Air Defense and Air Operations Command. The nerve center of the French air defense, it is also one of four validation centers of the new integrated command and conduction system of air operations of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. A military command base, rated as a highly sensitive defense zone, it houses 1,300 administered around the National Centre of Air Operations (CNOA), a conduction center of the Strategic Air Forces (FAS) and the Strategic Oceanic Force (FOST), as well as the facilities of the 05.942 Detection and Control Centre whose responsibility zone covers the south-eastern quarter of France.
