Rustavi is a small civilised area within the Batumi Valley with only 1200 habitants living in it (prior to the rebellion). the 27th Recon Division was there for only 2 days until the 30th Infantry Regiment took over and pushed the rebels back into Caravan. The Rebels plan was to take over the '73m encampment' and blow up the scientific research camp (which they partially succeeded in) situated the Kazek Mountain. The operation only took 6 nights.
