Thanks to zKevin for the Robot 64 Engine! 200 years before the events of Robot 64, back when the sun was Jolly and Happy, and when people were somewhat normal, a scientist that went by the name of Professor PalChibliss made a Robot called Treble. Unfortunately, Treble went rogue and started causing trouble across Papatopia. So, Prof. Pal made Bass, a similar yet more stable robot. Bass was tasked to track down and deactivate Treble.
