I’ll try again to fix myself, And stack these feelings on the shelf. But eventually that shelf will break And once again the darkness will take All the gains I made this time So start again begin to climb From the bottom of this steep hill, I wish next time it’ll be alright And maybe next time I’ll win the fight. But these battles have made me weary Not sure when I last saw clearly. Should I give up and end it all? Wave the flag, submit, just fall? As Black is all I’ve ever found Would it be any different underground? This wars been going on too long. Where did it all go so wrong?
