After the successful counteroffensive of the IV Siege Corps at the Saint Claire Line, Fortunan forces now aim to exploit the weakened Federation formations. The Local Defense Corps has been ordered to perform a delaying action along Route 80 to prevent the 8th Independent Cavalry Brigade from encircling the defenders at Chancellor Harbor.
