The Thompsons family went missing whilst under investigation for tax evasion. Police (You) were called to the Thompsons' home after neighbours reported keening sounds coming from the inside. The home interior was furnished with unusual, exotic items and furniture. Police searched Mr Thompsons' basement "Den" and discovered a second room behind a curtain. What was initially believed to just be a non-approved extension connected to another room. And another. And another.
