N221NW was a McDonnell Douglas DC-10 built by McDonnell Douglas in 1974 originally for Swissair as HB-IHE and named "Vaud". In May 1991, it was delivered to Northwest Airlines and re-registered as N221NW operated there until it was withdrawn on October 9, 2005, stored in October 10, 2005, and scrapped.
