2025, January 1st, crack of dawn; the few remain, though many silently perished through the night, forever condemned to an eternal purgatory of their own making—forever condemned to a vast tunnel, one larger than imagination itself, left to crawl up forever-more, like a swarm of terrified raging insects. Truly a Sisyphean punishment, befitting such a terrible and cruel race [Mindless], even more so considering their awesome and horrific numbers. And yet, in spite of their torment, the few all collectively sighed in relief, for they knew that terrible, terrible noise would haunt them nevermore, for they knew that the struggle wasn't for naught. Adieu, mindless. Never come back.
