On October 17th, 1929, the tranquil outskirts of St-Quentin erupted into chaos as Revolutionary forces clashed with a Royalist counteroffensive. Amidst rolling farmlands, dense forestry, and scattered villages, fiery artillery barrages shattered the quiet, and brutal close-quarters combat raged. Fields became killing grounds, forests hid ambushes, and villages were consumed by the relentless struggle.
