Fort Kartae, Southern Astralis

In the early days of the kingdom Fort Kartae was a major strategic foot hold for the Imperial army allowing the successful defence of countless barbarian attacks. Now Fort Kartae is used as the primary training fort for the Imperial forces of Astraeus. Fort Kartae is named after a General in the Imperial Army, who, during the first battle against Kardok Xozraroth, sacrificed his life, aswell as the lives of his regiment, so that the King could escape, and come back to defeat the demon once again, this man's name was Elianus Castus Kartae.
