Base One, Established on The Great Temple was established on Yavin IV as the Alliance's Headquarters. During the Battle of Yavin it was the staging ground for the attack on the Empire's first Death Star. After the Battle of Yavin, it was evacuated to prevent the Imperials finding any useful information.
