Haar be Kartasuum

Virtually an antique, this D-5 Mantis was acquired off a collector shortly after Eris Xynn-Colton's induction as a Mandalorian, Where she made frequent use of it in service to clans Dhyre and Runi. She chose the name Kartasuum from the Mando'a words for 'Heart' and 'Beyond', contextually translating to 'The Heart's Beyond" in basic. Built for combat, the rare, compact-framed D5-Mantis was a best-in-class patrol craft, designed to compete with—and meet the demands of—much larger starships. The D5-Mantis engineers also made extensive use of a vertically economical interior design to condense and fully utilize space. The vessel's small bulkheads accommodated large, open areas and improved the ease of maintenance. The sequel of a passion project.
