Description (written by the developer; not a statement by this register)
Following the burning of the Realmschancellery and the purge of the high command, Essen fell into a deep depression. The Sinister Party took control of the government, dismantling the former staples and causing the city to fall into ruins, as it stands today, blacked out by the sun and left to rot, boarded up with foes and former citizens no-where to be found.
