COLD METAL

321 years ago the world we know today was attacked by a powerful and cold winter storm, only small areas protected by almost magic barriers were not affected by the storm, these were called "pockets". Metal or any sort of metallic ore touched by the blizzard instantly rusted, leaving very small amounts of the material that originally helped humanity progress safe in these pockets but unable to leave due to fear of it rusting. Now, the world has been forced to devolve back to the old western times, there are no real laws. It truly became a wild west. It would be discovered that there is a single material that works like metal that is unaffected by the storm outside known as fitzroy, this material was used to make guns for very powerful people known as "cowboys". There are only a very few amount of guns though because the material is so rare. How will you survive the cold?
