The Capitol Arena, which was originally made for events such as circuses and performances before The Dark Days, was repurposed for the first through tenth annual Hunger Games. It is a massive, intricate coliseum located at the heart of the Capitol, the structure is both grand and menacing, serving as a reminder of the Capitol's absolute power over the Districts, with the Tributes forced to fight within its walls.
