Valiant-class Development Project Utopia Planitia Fleet Yards, Mars CONSTRUCTION CHRONOLOGY 16 July 2018 Valiant Class Project officially approved. Design centers begin drawing upon previous starships once general specifications are transmitted. Vehicle frame, engine systems, computer cores, and hull receive high priority. 8 December 2018 Computer simulations indicate the ship design is viable. Simulations continue. 9 April 2019 Material review proceeds as planned. Details classified. 21 July 2019 Basic structural framework laid. 16 May 2020 Corridor design proceeding; construction commencing.
