Welcome to the Seat of the United States Government, commonly referred to as the "Seat of Power". This is where the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate meet to pass laws, resolutions, and related stuff. Visitors are welcome to join and see the lovely history of the Capitol. You are not permitted to enter the floor without permission from Capitol Police, doing so may result in removal and/or criminal prosecution. Visitors are advised to refrain from making noises while the Chambers are in session, and must remain in the gallery (or outside of the chamber) while in session.
