St. Peter’s Basilica is a Renaissance-era church located within Vatican City and is one of the most important religious and architectural landmarks in the world. Built over what is believed to be the burial site of Saint Peter, one of Jesus’ apostles and the first Pope, the basilica has stood for centuries as a symbol of the Catholic Church. Note: All liturgical celebrations (masses & services) do not have any sacramental value. They are strictly for RP.
