Shimizuyama Castle was a Japanese castle from the Azuchi-Momoyama period located on Mount Shimizu. During the Imjin War, Toyotomi Hideyoshi ordered the construction of castles to serve as logistical bases on Iki and Tsushima , which were the transit points between his headquarters, Nagoya Castle, and Korea, and it is said that Mori Takamasa built this castle on Mount Shimizu, west of Izuhara. It sits above Kaneishi Castle in the Izuhara Castle-Town
