With the attack on the Sudetenland failing, the Germans are looking for new options to weaken the CSSR. Since the bulk of German forces are in the north, pinned down and facing Czech counterattacks, Italy and Hungary have been tasked with opening a second front to the south. Now a joint Italian-Hungarian army marches from Budapest, with Slovakia in their sights. Czech reserves have been dispatched south, and preparations made to hold the strategic passes through the Tatra mountains. The battle of the Tatras is about to begin.
