United States Army Fort Indiantown Gap Roleplay

Fort Indiantown Gap is a military installation located in Pennsylvania. It was originally established as a National Guard post and later leased to the U.S. Army for training purposes during World War II. The facility has a rich history, having served as a training center for various military units, including the 28th Infantry Division and the 55th Artillery Brigade. Today, Fort Indiantown Gap continues to be an important military installation, serving as a National Guard Training Center, the home of the PA Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, and the headquarters of the PA National Guard. It also houses a number of tenant organizations and provides a range of services and facilities for military personnel and their families. Nearly 800 temporary barracks buildings were located in complete regimental areas with mess halls, recreation buildings, and store rooms. Muir Army Airfield was also constructed at that time.
