Brentwood Town Centre | Sears Elevator

Welcome to the most detailed recreation of the Sears Elevator at Brentwood Town Center, Burnaby BC. This Version is a Complete Revamp from the original game i made in Late 2023. This is a Montgomery Black Button Traction elevator, Originally installed in 1961 When this building opened as an Eatons Department Store. This elevator Recieved a Light Slap-On Modernization From KONE In 2004. in 2017, After the bankrupcy of Sears, This location was permanantly closed. However, the elevator was walled off and remained in public service as a mall elevator, as it was the only elevator capable of accessing the rooftop parking deck. On May 4th, 2025. The old part of the mall including this elevator was officially closed off from the public as part of "The Amazing Brentwood" Phase III. Demolition started soon after. On June 27, 2025. Demolition completed on the Former Sears building including this Elevator, The main mall and main elevator are now currently awaiting demolition.
