On Chara Team you fight the sans and when the sans is out of stamina you get a win and EXP for you charater you use on chara team you also fight with friends or random teammates.On Sans team you kill the chara's team to get exp for the Sans you are using. but if you die you don't get exp. Each Kill you get from chara team gives 30 Exp. when you have the wins and exp for the upgrades than your Sans get stronger but chara might beat you by their skill and stuff so yeah.
