Once a local post office and sorting depot, this red-brick building became a bustling bakery in its later years, remembered fondly for its warm loaves and evening crowds. The Aspen is named after Aspen Walk – a wooded path that used to link the street to a nearby railway line. Now restored as a public house, it brings new life to a building full of local history and community spirit.
