In the thick of the jungle, often times disease & bugs are deadlier than any enemy army. The dense and uneven terrain denies any effective artillery or cavalry action. The unwavering legions of foliage prevent the orderly, linear conflicts that Europe is so fond of; devolving warfare from a disciplined dance to a mad brawl amongst the silence of the forest. And then, out of the corner of your eye . . . .
