LV-298 "The Forgotten Outpost"

LV-298 is a hostile exoplanet located in a remote sector of the Outer Rim. Classified as a Class-D world by Weyland-Yutani surveys, it was deemed unsuitable for large-scale colonization due to its volatile atmosphere, seismic instability, and aggressive native lifeforms. Despite its dangers, the planet has been visited repeatedly by both humans and Yautja (Predators) for reasons that remain shrouded in secrecy. Thin and unstable, oxygen levels barely sufficient for unassisted human survival. Constant electrical storms create violent sky displays, making orbital scans unreliable. Jagged mountain ranges, acidic marshlands, and obsidian plains scarred by volcanic activity. Seismic rifts shift terrain unexpectedly, burying entire structures overnight. LV-298 is home to razor-spined flora and predatory arthropods that burrow beneath the surface. The dominant apex predators are native reptilian pack hunters, highly aggressive and territorial.
