Decades ago, The Credit Authority (lead by Supreme Treasurer - Benjamin Vostorg) rose from the collapse of global markets, consolidating power through wealth and control. However, the earth they hold this authority over is desolate, toxic, and dying. Most of the world is buried under toxic haze. Only a handful of walled camps remain, where filtered air circulates just enough to survive. Admission is limited to those deemed useful, or strong enough to endure what still seeps through.
