Description (written by the developer; not a statement by this register)

Take to the rails like never before in NWR: Evolved, free-drive in yet another game inspired by Rev. Wilbert Awdry’s Railway Series. Explore a living, breathing island where every line, siding, and harbor functions— and every last engine has a role to play. Drive your favorite locomotives freely across a vast partial recreation of the North Western Railway, from the busy yards of Tidmouth to the foggy cliffs of Brendam. Manage your own timetables, haul freight, pull passengers, or simply roam the rails at your own leisure, the choice is yours, enjoy! Useful Engines! is an open-world sandbox railway game where you can freely drive, explore, and work across a partial digital recreation of the Island of Sodor. Inspired by the Railway Series and TV series, it’s all about your freedom to choose what you enjoy doing.
