GHR | Oksbøl Kaserne og Skydeterræn

Oksbøl Kaserne og Skydeterræn (Oksbøl Barracks and Training Area) is a military garrison of the Forsvaret (Danish Defence) located near the city of Oksbøl in Region Syddanmark (Southern Denmark Region). Established in 1929 as Oksbøllejren (Oksbøl Camp), Oksbøl Kaserne is home to the largest field training area in the entirety of Denmark. Despite the barracks being home to and operated by the Danskartilleriregimentet (Danish Artillery Regiment), it is used heavily by both training and line units of the Hæren alike for field exercises and maneuvers thanks to it's rugged and diverse terrain, the Military Operations in Urban Terrain (MOUT) training area named "Brikby", as well as it's many firing ranges.
