地方法院 | District Court of ROC

中華民國地方法院，上級機關為高等法院，為刑事、民事案件的第一審判決 ( 內亂罪及外患罪等不在此限 )。地方法院設有刑事庭、民事庭、調解室、法警室、律師休息室等。此地方法院設有國民法官庭，國民法官庭由 6 位國民法官及 3 位專業法官進行審理及裁判較為重大的刑事案件，以此讓人民更靠近司法體系，也可以增加人民對於司法的信任。此地方法院隸屬於臺灣高等法院。 The District Courts of the Republic of China, with the High Court as their superior authority, are responsible for the first instance judgments in criminal and civil cases (excluding crimes of sedition and foreign aggression). The District Courts include criminal courts, civil courts, mediation rooms, bailiff offices, and lawyer rest rooms. Each District Court also has a National Judges' Court, composed of six national judges and three professional judges, who adjudicate more serious criminal cases. This aims to bring the public closer to the judicial system and increase public trust in the judiciary. This district court is subordinate to the Taiwan High Court.
