Rise of Pompeii, SPQR is a historical role-playing game set during the reign of Octavian Augustus, during the city of Pompeii's golden age. Here, each player can write their own story, assuming different roles in Roman society: politician, soldier, officer, ordinary citizen, craftsman, merchant, or member of a great family. The city is alive and constantly evolving: the Forum where meetings and public announcements are held, the ever-bustling shops, the baths as the center of social life, the streets patrolled by guards, and the legions train in the imperial barracks. Each person's choices can impact the future of the community. You can climb the hierarchies, gain honor and new civil rights, work to protect order, or compete for political power through the Senate. The most ambitious adventurers can even serve the Emperor directly. Rome watches your every action. Will you be glorious or forgotten?
