The Presidential Palace is the official residence and workplace of the president of Lithuania. Located in Vilnius Old Town, Lithuania. The palace dates back to the 14th century when it was first used as the residence of the Bishop of Vilnius. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Throughout its history, the palace was used as a residence for prominent European leaders, including the monarchs of Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth as well as the Kings and Emperors from France. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ In 1997 the palace became the official building of the president of Lithuania.
