Saint Paisios Church

Saint Paisios of Mount Athos is one of the most beloved Orthodox saints of the modern era, remembered for his deep humility, spiritual discernment, and profound love for every human soul. Born Arsenios Eznepidis in Cappadocia in 1924, he was baptized by Saint Arsenios the Cappadocian, who foretold his monastic calling. After serving honorably in the Greek army during the civil war, Paisios withdrew from the world and dedicated his life entirely to Christ.
