The Final Breath.

The screen is black. Static crackles softly, cutting in and out. You hear something… Not wind. Not footsteps. Breathing. Slow. Uneven. Too close. A faint red glow pulses somewhere in the darkness, disappearing as quickly as it appears. The air feels heavy, like it’s pressing against your chest. You take a step forward. Then another. The breathing grows louder. Closer. Closer. A low scraping sound drags across the ground. Metal on stone. Sharp. Intentional. The world begins to fade in around you— Empty streets. Broken lights flickering weakly overhead. Places you recognize, twisted and wrong, like they’ve been abandoned for years. A sudden whisper echoes from everywhere and nowhere at once. “Don’t turn around.” Your heart pounds. The red glow returns, brighter now. Two eyes open in the darkness. Glowing red. Watching. A tall figure steps forward, wrapped in a torn black cloak that moves like smoke. A crimson aura leaks from its body, pulsing with every breath it takes. A lo
