The king had enough of this, therefor founded his own regiment, and marched with them back to England. The First Regiment of Foot Guards and the Second Regiment of Foot Guards had a battle, and the First Regiment of Foot Guards won. In the Napoleonic Era, The First Regiment of Foot Guards became the Grenadier Guards after they defeated the French Imperial Guard, and took their bearskins. These to this day are still used for Ceremonial Duties. Join Our Discord to Join Up to the Grenadiers Guards: https://discord.gg/hHZCPd3gqu
