You descend in a submarine that was never meant to survive this depth. Beneath the deepest point of the ocean. Your vessel, stitched together from scrap, spare parts, and groans with every meter downward. You weren’t chosen for this expedition. You were assigned. The reason doesn’t matter to the people who sent you, and it may not matter to whatever waits below. All you can do is keep moving. Because stopping now is not an option.
