After the Reunification Wars came to an end, NATO(North Atlantic Treaty Organization) started to show signs of aggression towards the Fordian Empire. In 2015, an act called PFA(Provincial Freedoms Act) gave many Provinces the ability to self govern as long as they followed Fordianism and were deemed "safe to self-govern" by the Premier himself. After NATO started to arm the border of Belarus, Belarus was considered "at threat of invasion" and therefore "not safe to self-govern". After this, the Premier ordered Minsk be completely militarized in case of an invasion
