Description

The KGB (Committee for State Security in English) is the Soviet Union's main political and military internal security force and its special operations, with multiple groups inside dedicated to multiple things. The Spetsnaz also are under their command, as they can be described as the "KGB's heavy lifters", due to being its main assault force in high-risk situations. ------------- Short History: As a direct successor of preceding agencies, it was attached directly to the Council of Ministers. It was the chief government agency of the "union jurisdiction", carrying out internal security, intelligence, and secret service functions. Similar agencies operated in each of the republics of the Soviet Union aside from the Russian SSR, with many associated ministries, state committees, and state commissions. ------------- Requirements: Show discipline and ability to remain calm under pressure. Senior Warrant Officer+ in the Red Army. Pass a KGB tryout.

Growth history is still building. We hold one measurement for this entry. A trend needs at least two, taken days apart — so this will fill in on its own rather than being estimated. We do not publish numbers we have not measured.
