Description
O-M-O-N is a system of special police units within the Soviet Mil-it-si-ya. It was created as the special forces of the Soviet Mil-it-si-ya and has remained that way since being formed. Currently, though, O-M-O-N is used more like riot police or VIP protection units. ------------- Short History of O-M-O-N: O-M-O-N originated when the Soviet police tactical unit that would become O-M-O-N was founded in preparation for the Summer Olympics in Moscow to ensure that there were no "incidents" involving acts of terror again. Subsequently, the unit was to be utilized in emergencies such as high-risk arrests, hostage crises, and said acts of terror. ------------- Requirements: Sergeant+ Rank in Mil-it-si-ya. Show that you have extreme skill with close-ranged and hand-to-hand/melee combat. Pass an O-M-O-N tryout.
