Description
Our team is based on the Solo Display Team which was the aerobatics display team of the RNLAF, which consisted of three separate teams: The F-16 display team, AH-64D Apache display and the PC-7 team. The team was based out of Vliegbasis Leeuwarden, though the F-16 display had periods of being based at Vliegbasis Volkel. VRDF16 was founded in late 2019 by Slnter, and performed at RIAT 2020, after which w_esth1ll took over the team. The team then grew and after a recent period of inactivity is back with DanielRFernsby and jackchildish taking over the team, with better and more up to date aircraft. The team was created to accurately recreate the procedures, display and operations of the F-16 demo team during it's active years. The current team includes 2 aircraft, J-015 and J-055 which both fly their own separate displays with only some certain exceptions.
