Description
United States Line ________________ United States Line was founded in 1921, and at first had ships from the failed United States Mail Steamship Company. We especially grew in the 30 and 60s. USL absorbed the American Line in 1932, the Baltimore Mail Line in 1937, and the American Merchant Line in 1938. In the 90s USL began slowly started to be liquidated. Soon after, some of USL's ships were sold. In 2000 and 2001, the United States Line name was used briefly of American Classic Voyages.
