Description
The Increment is a former British covert special forces and intelligence-support unit that originally operated under the Secret Intelligence Service (SIS). The organization was established during the Cold War to carry out clandestine operations including intelligence collection, reconnaissance, sabotage, asset recovery, and direct action missions in politically sensitive or hostile environments. Following the the collapse of civilization, the United Kingdom, & the SIS, The Increment ceased functioning as an official government organization but continued to exist through surviving cells. The unit currently operates independently across Faris, Halsey, and Mackinaw Islands, where its activities primarily include reconnaissance, protective operations, intelligence gathering, and the neutralization of hostile threats, including infected populations and organized survivor groups.
