Description
Serithai (English: Free Thai Movement) is an underground movement that operated during the Great East Asian War. As part of World War II during 1941–1945, it was intended to resist the invasion of the Imperial Japanese Army. Maintain the independence and sovereignty of the Thai nation. The Seri Thai Movement took place on December 8, 1941, when the Japanese forces arrived in the east and landed from the Gulf of Thailand. Originally called this movement "Anti-Japanese Organization" was later renamed "Seri Thai", playing a role as an important news source for the Allies.
