Description
The UNSC Marine Expeditionary Forces, or simply abbreviated the MEF, were combat battalions of the UNSC Marine Corps that consisted of the Marines' most capable combat veterans. Often deployed to the front line ahead of additional reinforcements, these marines were self-sufficient and had dedicated support elements on top of their standard ground forces, providing the MEF necessitated independence from the UNSC Army and Navy. As a result of the MEF's mission profile and functionality, units within often include ODST and reconnaissance specialist units on top of ordinary logistics, armored, and aerial support divisions.
